Download: macOS 15 Sequoia Final Version For Mac Released

You can now download macOS 15 Sequoia final version, and install it on your Mac at home. Here’s how.

The macOS 15 Sequoia software update has been in the hands of app developers and public beta testers for months now after it was first announced at WWDC in June.

The update was shared alongside iOS 18, iPadOS 18, tvOS 18, watchOS 11, and visionOS 2 which means that there is no shortage of new software updates available for those who have a raft of Apple devices.

The macOS 15 Sequoia software update brings with it the groundwork for Apple Intelligence, although that collection of features won’t be available until the macOS 15.1 software update is released to the public in October. That doesn’t mean that there isn’t plenty to look forward to though, because there is.

Upgrades to the Continuity feature allow users to mirror their iPhone screen to their Mac for the first time, while iPhone notifications can also be configured to appear on the Mac as well. Updates to window tiling are also included, while Safari includes a redesigned Reader mode and improved controls over web video.

Perhaps the biggest improvement for some will be the release of the Passwords app, finally removing the need to dive into the Settings app just to edit a password. Other improvements come to gaming, with Metal 3 support allowing for smoother frame rates and better imagery on M-series Macs. All of that an more makes macOS Sequoia well worth downloading, and you can get it right now via the System Settings app on your Mac.

You can get final version of macOS Sequoia today from the Mac App Store and or the System Settings  > General > Software Update section of your Mac.
