It is out now and it is official ! The Mac OS X 10.6.4 Snow Leopard update has been released. It is a very crucial update and it implements hundreds of fixes since the last few updates, 10.6.3(March 2010) and 10.6.2(November 2009). You can get the update from Snow Leopard’s Software Update, or directly from the Software Downloads page here.
10.6.4 is a recommended update, it enhances the overall stability and compatibility of you Mac. Some of the fixes which it implements are: improves reliability of VPN connections, resolves an issue editing photos with iPhoto or Aperture in full screen view, resolves a playback issue in DVD Player when using Good Quality deinterlacing, includes Safari 5 and more.

- resolves an issue with noise when using some third-party FireWire audio devices
- resolves pairing issues with Apple remotes
