Apple’s September round of software updates might have come to an end, but that doesn’t mean that the company is done completely.
Today, Apple released new software updates for the iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, Apple Vision Pro, and Mac. But those hoping for any big new features are set to be left disappointed.
These new software updates won’t add support for Apple Intelligence, but those updates are on the way later this month.
For now, though, iPadOS 18.0.1, watchOS 11.0.1, tvOS 18.0.1, visionOS 2.0.1, macOS 15.0.1 are all here to bring with them new fixes and tweaks, meaning those who install them are unlikely to notice any big changes. However, if you have been dealing with any particularly irritating bugs now might be a good time to see if they have been corrected.
All of these new software updates are of course available as free downloads via their respective software update mechanisms, so make sure to check for the updates and install them as soon as possible. Those with automatic updates enabled may already have the new software available of course, so be sure to check the current version number if you aren’t being presented with a new download.
This round of updates comes after Apple also released new software for the iPhone ahead of the expected October iOS 18.1 update that will include support for Apple Intelligence.
