You can now download iOS 18.4 RC and iPadOS 18.4 RC for your iPhone and iPad. Here are the details on this.

Apple is getting ready to roll out iOS 18.4, and the final version is almost here. The Release Candidate (RC) is now available for both developers and public beta testers, meaning the final update should be around the corner.

This update brings plenty of new features, with one of the biggest being Visual Intelligence support on the iPhone 15 Pro. This feature is a part of Apple’s Apple Intelligence branding, allowing users to perform advanced visual searches.

Starting with iOS 18.4, iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro users will also be able to access it through Control Center, the Action button, or Shortcuts for even quicker searches.

Another exciting inclusion is the addition of new emojis. For the first time in a year, iOS 18.4 introduces fresh emoji characters, adding more ways for users to express themselves in messages.

Apple also announced today that the USB-C AirPods Max 2 will be getting lossless audio and ultra-low latency audio support via an update next week. That update happens to be iOS 18.4, so expect it drop in anytime next week.

To get OTA update of iOS 18.4 RC, head over to Settings > General > Software Update section of your device and grab it from there.
