You can now download iOS 18.3 beta 2 OTA profile file and IPSW links for compatible iPhone devices. Here are the details on the release.
Apple released first beta of iOS 18.3 before the holiday season began late last year. With the release of today’s beta 2 of iOS 18.3, it marks the end of holiday season in Cupertino.
While the initial beta of iOS 18.3 lacked the third-wave of Apple Intelligence features, it’s anticipated that subsequent betas will incorporate them. However, it’s uncertain whether beta 2 will be the first time consumers encounter these features.
For those of you who are still living under the rock, Apple first rolled out Apple Intelligence as part of iOS 18.1 in Fall of 2024. Later, with iOS 18.2 the company rolled out second-wave of Apple Intelligence features.
So far, Apple Intelligence features like Writing Tools, new Siri animation, Type-to-Siri, ChatGPT integration, Genmoji, Image Playground, Image Wand, Visual Intelligence on iPhone 16 series devices, notification summaries, Mail and Messages summaries, Photos app Clean Up and Photos app memory maker have been rolled out to end-consumers as part of iOS 18.1 and iOS 18.2 releases.
Third-wave of Apple Intelligence features are expected to include revamped Siri and we are yet to see whether it makes the cut in iOS 18.3 or iOS 18.4.
To download today’s iOS 18.3 beta 2 seed, head over to Settings > General > Software Update section of the device and grab the OTA update from there. Alternatively, you can grab the IPSW file form developer.apple.com and updating to it via iTunes on Windows, or Finder on Mac.
If we spot anything new in today’s seed, we will be back with more updates on it. Stay tuned for more on this space.
