Download: iOS 18.1 Beta 3 OTA Update, IPSW Links For iPhone Out Now

You can now download iOS 18.1 beta 3 via the OTA update file mechanism while IPSW links for iPhone. Here are the details of this new release

This new release comes a couple of weeks after Apple made the second beta available for download which itself debuted two weeks after the first.

Apple is expected to stick to this release cadence for the foreseeable future before switching to a weekly beta pattern ahead of the expected release to the public towards the end of this year.

The iOS 18.1 update brings with it support for Apple Intelligence, albeit in beta form, and is set to be made available in October or November.

Those who want to download iOS 18.1 beta 3 on their iPhone can head over to the Settings app followed by General > Software Update > Beta Updates section and then make sure you have the iOS 18.1 Developer Beta option selected. You should then see the new beta become available, ready for download. Alternatively, you can of course download the IPSW file for your specific device from developer.apple.com instead.

This beta is only available to registered developers and there is so far no public beta available. We’d also suggest that people only install this update on devices that they don’t need to function correctly, with beta software often featuring unexpected issues as the development program progresses.

Apple hasn’t yet said when iOS 18.1 will be released, but iOS 18 is expected to be made available next month.
