Download: iOS 18.1 Beta 1 OTA Update, IPSW Links Out With Apple Intelligence Features

You can now download iOS 18.1 beta 1 OTA update and IPSW links for iPhone, and iPadOS 18.1 beta 1 for iPad. Here are the details on this release.

And as was expected, Apple has today released first beta of iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1 to developers.

The release comes only a week after the company seeded iOS 18.0 beta 4 to developers, but this seed, as reported earlier, features Apple Intelligence features which were not part of initial iOS 18 beta release cycle.

We don’t exactly know at this point on what else has been included in iOS 18.1 betas apart from Apple Intelligence features. We will of course update you on this as we learn more about it in the coming hours. Stay tuned for that.

If you’re interested in getting iOS 18.1 beta 1 on your iPhone, head over to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates section and then make sure you select iOS 18.1 Developer Beta option.

Once that is done, go back to Settings > General > Software Update section and wait for it to load OTA update install prompt. Once it shows up, simply tap on “Download and install” button to begin downloading and installing the 18.1 beta software.

If you’re alternatively interested in clean installing iOS 18.1 via IPSW file, head over to developer.apple.com to grab the file for your device.

Update: Apple has also released macOS Sequoia 15.1 beta 1 with Apple Intelligence features to developers.
