Apple has today released for download the iOS 18 beta 7 OTA update and IPSW links alongside beta 7 of iPadOS 18 being joined by macOS 15, tvOS 18, and more.
These new updates are all available to developers right now while a public beta release is also expected within the next couple of days.
This update comes a week or so after the last one and shows that Apple is getting closer to being ready to launch the iOS 18 and other software updates available to the public. It’s expected to be released in September, around the same time as the release of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro handsets. However, the exact launch date has yet to be confirmed.
The iOS 18 and related software updates won’t include Apple Intelligence, but rather Apple will release that feature in beta as part of future iOS 18.1 and related software updates.
Those updates are currently in beta as well and are likely to be released to the public before the end of 2024 although, again, there is little by the way of a confirmed launch date currently.
These new updates are all available for download via the usual software update mechanisms, while ISPW files are also available for those who would prefer to update their iPhone or iPad manually, too. We’d suggest going with the OTA update in the name of ease-of-use.
