You can now download iOS 17.2 beta 1, watchOS 10.2 beta 1, tvOS 17.2 beta 1 and macOS 14.2 beta 1. Here are the details on the release.
After releasing final version of iOS 17.1 and others to public earlier this week, Apple has now seeded first beta update of iOS 17.2, watchOS 10.2, tvOS 17.2 and macOS 14.2 to developers.
The aforementioned updates aren’t the usual bug fix and performance updates but are rather packed with a lot of new features for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV and Mac users.
For instance, iOS 17.2 introduces features like new Action Button action option for iPhone 15 Pro users, Journal app for iPad, Apple Music changes, and much more. tvOS 17.2 on the other hand brings a lot of UI changes for navigation and more.
All of these updates can be downloaded over-the-air (OTA) from Settings > General > Software Update section of the device. Make sure you have toggle for Beta Update to On position in order to get the aforementioned OTA update to show up on your device.
We will be back with more detailed changes and features in above updates soon. Stay tuned for more on this space.
