If you’re picking up a brand-new iPhone 15 or iPhone 15 Pro today you’re probably going to want to make sure that you install iOS 17.0.2 before you try to do anything else.

While Apple released iOS 17.0.1 to the world yesterday, it also released iOS 17.0.2 alongside it. Today marks the first time that the new iPhones have become available for sale which means that people around the world are now trying to set them up for the first time. Here’s hoping that people installed iOS 17.0.2 before they did it otherwise they might have to resort to using an iCloud backup instead of the iPhone-to-iPhone migration option.
