You can now download revised iOS 16 Beta 3 20A5312j OTA Profile File update after Apple released it today following the release of first public beta.
Apple has today released an updated version of the third iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 betas that were made available to developers a few days ago. With these new betas, users are already noticing that a new full-screen album artwork addition has been made available.
The new update, which can be downloaded by those with the correct developer profile installed, adds a change that means that album art is now displayed as a large image on the new Lock Screen. The updated playback controls are displayed at the bottom of the screen, too.
This is of course not the only change to the iOS 16 Lock Screen in particular. With iOS 16 users will be able to customize their Lock Screens in new ways, adding widgets and changing the text and color of the clock and more.
Apple announced iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 at WWDC22 last month and recently made a public beta available as well. The final updates are likely to be made available to the public in or around September, around the same time that Apple will also announce the new iPhone 14 lineup as well as three new Apple Watches — including the first rugged version. A new Apple Watch Series 8 and a refreshed Apple Watch SE are also expected.
