You can now download iOS 13 final IPSW links and over-the-air (OTA) update for your compatible iPhone. The release means that all holders of compatible iPhone and iPod touch hardware are now able to get their hands on the initial production release of Apple’s iOS 13 platform.

Unless you have been living under a rock, or in an entirely remote part of the world for the last 14 weeks, you should be fully aware that Apple has been extensively testing iOS 13 with internal and external testers as well as with its extensive development community around the globe.

Those tests have resulted in a multitude of pre-release seeds being made available, all with the intention of us getting into the position that we now find ourselves in with a production version of iOS 13 downloading to our devices.

The journey to get to this position is often overlooked by those consuming and utilizing the production software but the importance of developers and public testers cannot be overlooked! Sure, Apple would be able to utilize its internal teams to get iOS 13 into a good position but it’s really the real-world use from developers and testers that allow edge vases to be found and a lot of issues to be ironed out and eradicated prior to launch.

For those who upgrade, there are lots of new and exciting features and additions to sink your teeth into. With that said, it is also worth noting that you won’t find any iPadOS 13 download links just yet. Apple has taken the decision to delay the launch of iPadOS 13, meaning that it will come on September 30 alongside the release of iOS 13.1 containing some features which just weren’t going to be ready for this release.

If you are in ownership of a compatible device, then you can head to Settings > General > Software Update right now and grab the download. Alternatively, you can gran the IPSW download and go through the process of manually restoring your device to a fresh iOS 13 installation, should you prefer that route. Keep in mind that you will likely face a battle with millions of other device owners who are currently peeping Apple’s authentication servers.
