It’s rather strange that, even in this day and age where technologies seem to be advancing at an exponential rate, we still have time to consider something as menial as the choice of wallpaper. Whenever a new version of Windows arrives, for example, much is often made of the design choices of the supplementary backdrop selection, and when it comes to smartphones, similar rules apply. HTC’s One offers many great features, and with the aftermarket Sense 5 preloaded atop Android Jelly Bean, there’s yet another varied selection of wallpapers on offer. HTC’s One may not yet have hit the market, but already, its wallpapers have been pulled and upped to the interwebs, and you can download them right now.
The early leak arrives courtesy of a member of a forum who, having checked out the device at an HTC event in Italy, managed to pull the default Sense 5 wallpapers and upload them for the rest of the world to enjoy. As ever, there is plenty of selection, and with a total of 18, it’s a nice little taster of the new Sense 5 look.
If you would like to use one or some of the wallpapers, simply check out the link at the end of this post, download the subsequent .rar file, extract, and copy the files to your device using your regular method.
Considering the wallpapers are designed for the HTC One, which boasts a beautifully-crisp 1080p display, these images are fit for any smartphone currently on the market, and may also look nice on a tablet.
With so many altogether more interesting things one can now do with a mobile device, changing the wallpaper is seldom a practice most of us partake in on a frequent basis. Often, we only alter the look of the background when we’ve grown sick of the last one, but with an assortment of 18 very aesthetically pleasing walls on offer here, you should have plenty to keep your device looking fresh.
Looking manually for wallpapers, or finding a catch-free wallpaper app, can be equally as cumbersome, so don’t miss out on the chance to check out this fine selection!
