All Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ wallpapers are now available to download and use on any Android or iPhone / iPad device. Get them right here.
Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and S8+ handsets may have made a splash on announcement, and garnered a multitude of fans in the process, but it is still three weeks away from actually going on sale and shipping to the public. Thankfully, the people of the Internet don’t just sit back and wait for things to happen, or wait for devices to launch, with one XDA-Developers forum member taking matters into his own hands to extract and make available all of the gloriously wonderful stock wallpapers from both devices.
In total, there are eighteen individual wallpapers up for grabs here, all of which should play nice and be usable on pretty much any smartphone out there in the wild. You could even stick the knife into Samsung by using these on your iPhone 7 or 7 Plus if that’s your thing.
The wallpapers themselves are actually very minimalist, using gradients and a stunning mix of colors to truly take maximum advantage of the hardware’s Super AMOLED, QHD+ displays at 5.8 and 6.2-inches.
All of the extracted wallpapers are offered in a familiar square 2960 x 2960 resolution, and are offered entirely independently of the Samsung S8 hardware, which means you aren’t going to need one of Samsung’s latest flagships to actually use and get the most out of these images. However, if you are on the lookout for a new smartphone, you could definitely do a lot worse than opting for a pre-order of the stunning new Samsung smartphone as it most definitely sets the standard for what we expect from a premium Android handset.
Anyone interested in the stunning new official S8 and S8+ wallpapers, can download the entire pack available as a full download, in high-resolution, weighing in an approximately 205MB in size from here. It’s then simply a case of getting them across onto your device of choice and reveling in the stunning nature of Samsung’s new wallpapers.
Remember though, if you do want to experience the S8 or S8+, then you can still pre-order the hardware prior to its April 21st launch, and could potentially bag yourself a free of charge Oculus-powered VR headset in the process. Now that has to be better than a few stock wallpapers.
