Alongside the release of iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4, Apple has also released new software updates for the Apple Watch, Mac, Apple Vison Pro, and Apple TV.
All of the new software updates are available for download right now and if you have automatic updates enabled, there’s a chance that you already have them.
None of these updates bring huge improvements, but they are all worth downloading to ensure that you have the latest fixes and security updates regardless.
macOS 15.4
The macOS 15.4 update brings Mail Categorization to the Mac for the first time, allowing Apple Intelligence to segregate emails in the Mail app. Promotions, transactions, and other categories should make it easier to find the messages that are important to you. New emojis are also included, as is the Apple News+ Food section with recipes and more.
watchOS 11.4
The watchOS 11.4 update includes a tweak that changes the way alarms work on the Apple Watch. Currently Silent Mode means alarms will only use haptic feedback to wake you, but a new Break Through Silent Mode option will mean that the alarm also makes a noise. Other improvements include support for Matter-compatible robot vacuums as well as some smaller fixes.
visionOS 2.4
For those who own an Apple Vision Pro, this new update brings a number of Apple Intelligence features as well as the ability to start a Guest User session using a nearby iPhone or iPad and then “ide the guest using View Mirroring.” Support for a new Apple Vision Pro app on the iPhone has also been added, while bug fixes and improvements are also included.
tvOS 18.4
The Apple TV software update is normally the smallest of the bunch, and this year is no different. It’s always worth updating to be sure you aren’t running outdated software, though.
