Apple has officially pushed out beta 4 of tvOS 12.1.1 and macOS 10.14.2. This latest round of seeds means that all owners of compatible Apple TV and Mac hardware with the necessary privileges can get access right now!
Developers and specific platform public testers will have been following along with this particular release schedule in order to see how each of these two platforms develop, and when it becomes ready for the primetime. Let’s see what’s on offer:
macOS 10.14.2 beta 4: As you’d expect from a build of this nature, macOS 10.14.2 is a relatively small update that offers improvements, bug fixes, and overall stability enhancements. There is no gampe-changing functionality in this beta, or any that came before it, with Apple simply looking to stabilize and fix with macOS 10.14.2.
tvOS 12.1.1 beta 4: Some people feel like Apple has really pushed tvOS as far as it will go in terms of brand new features. So, with this update, the foot has come off the gas a little as the company looks to consolidate what is already in place and implement some bug fixes and overall improvements.
If you are a developer involved in testing each, or any, of these platforms, then they are all available to download right now onto your compatible Mac or Apple TV hardware from the “Software Update” section on the device itself.
Remember, if you are testing any of these platforms, then make sure to provide feedback of any and all bug related information to Apple in order to have issues fixed as soon as possible.
