Apple has today released beta 4 version of iPadOS 18, macOS 15, watchOS 11, tvOS 18, and visionOS 2 to developers ahead of an expected public release in September. Here is everything you need to know about the latest releases.
The new iPadOS 18, macOS 15, watchOS 11, tvOS 18, and visionOS 2 updates were all announced at the WWDC event on June 10 alongside the iOS 18 iPhone software.
They’re all available in developer beta right now while some updates are also available for those who are on the public beta program. Remember that these updates are still very much in beta and that bugs and issues are to be expected.
iPadOS 18 Beta 4
macOS 15 Sequoia Beta 4
The next big macOS software update will bring Apple Intelligence to the Mac just like the iPad and iPhone. That will bring a number of improvements to the built-in apps like Notes and Mail.
The update can be installed via the System Settings app as normal but again, make sure to install it on a test device rather than your main Mac wherever possible.
watchOS 11 Beta 4
The big new Apple Watch software update isn’t going to bring any huge changes to the way the wearable functions but there will be improvements including a new Vitals app. We wouldn’t suggest installing this beta on your main watch but for those who do need to test it, beta 3 is now available for download via the usual software update mechanism.
visionOS 2 Beta 4
This visionOS 2 update will be the first big new software update to come to the Apple Vision Pro and it brings with it new improvements like SharePlay or Photos and a completely redesigned Photos app.
