Steve Jobs, Apple’s co-founder and former CEO, played an integral role in helping the company to push the boundaries of innovation, and despite succumbing to pancreatic cancer back in 2011, his work and general ethos remains a prominent part of the Cupertino outfit. The new “Becoming Steve Jobs: The Evolution of a Reckless Upstart into a Visionary Leader” book may have only just released, but it’s already topping numerous charts ranging from Amazon to Apple’s own iBooks, and the audiobook, for those who’d prefer to have the text dictated to them, can be had completely free of charge. Here, we show you how to get your free audiobook, and also, where to grab the ebook.
Amazon
Amazon’s Audible service offers a free audiobook as a part of a 30-day free trial to new users, which can be activated by going here. From there, you can save yourself the $35 asking price and listen to the full body of work without parting with any money.
The new Steve Jobs biography is narrated by George Newbern, and is over 16 hours long, so you’ll probably have to spread it over a few days even if you’re looking to digest its contents sooner rather than later.
If you want the Audible audiobook, irrespective of whether you’re a new user, check out here. Alternatively, you can purchase the Kindle ebook ($13.40) / hardcover ($19.83) from Amazon, which, while not cheaper than free, is a much better deal for those who don’t have a free Audible trial to capitalize on.
You can buy your copy from here.
iBooks
Given that, without Jobs, there’d be no iBooks or indeed, no Apple, it’s fitting that the Cupertino’s online book store should feature this latest biography. If you have an Apple ID and wish to download via iBooks, click here.
Barnes and Noble
The hardcover, as well as the NOOK edition, are on sale through Barnes and Noble as of right now, although with a price point at $20.12 and $14.99 respectively, they’re slightly higher-priced than the Amazon hardcover and Kindle releases.

As you can see, there are plenty of different options available, and so if you’ve been waiting to read what will certainly become a bestseller in weeks and months to come, go ahead and dive in via your desired store of choice.
