Download: Apple Releases Beta 4 Of watchOS 6 And tvOS 13

Great news, developers! Apple has released beta 4 of watchOS 6 and tvOS 13 after releasing macOS Catalina beta 4 yesterday. The new releases are available to download with immediate effect for all registered developers with access to compatible Apple Watch, and Apple TV hardware.

Apple is really starting to make progress now with the firmware which powers Apple Watch and Apple TV. With each release, we are starting to see improvements and stability enhancements and the likelihood is that beta 4 takes it once again to the next level.

watchOS 6: watchOS 6 offers new watch faces, a new charging animation, and brand new health features for all individuals with a compatible Apple Watch. watchOS 6 is definitely not a huge overhaul of the Apple Watch operating system but adds a number of smaller improvements which make it a dramatic improvement over earlier versions.

tvOS 13: Apple has really outdone itself with tvOS 13. There is one feature improvement alone which makes this an update worth having: multi-user accounts. Having the ability to sign-in with different users means that Apple can provide a personalized experience on the Home screen for each user. tvOS 13 also offers support for third-party gaming controllers, new screensavers, and support for lyrics when Apple TV owners are playing music via Apple Music. An update definitely worth having.

For those individuals who don’t have access to an active Apple Developer Account but who want to be part of the testing process as far as macOS 10.15 Catalina and tvOS 13 are concerned, then worry not as we expect Apple to drop the next public betas in just a few days. Those public betas will be the exact same builds which are available to developers today but will be accessible to the general public via Apple’s Public Beta testing program.
