DJI Mavic Mini Photos, Specs, Price Leaked, Here Are The Details

Images of the unannounced DJI Mavic Mini appeared online recently and now additional information has cropped up about what we can expect from the drone.

The Mavic Mini will apparently weigh 350 grams while measuring 270mm diagonally. That weight is notable because it takes it well outside the 250-gram limit that the FAA has in place currently.

Anyone wanting to fly the Mavic Mini will need to keep that in mind and it does stand the chance of minimizing the drone’s impact on the market.

In better news, the Mavic Mini will feature DJI’s impressive enhanced WiFi technology that is already employed in the Mavic Air and Spark. That means we can expect stellar connectivity and range from the drone when it arrives.

Price-wise, we’re told that you can expect to spend $399. For that money you’ll also benefit fro optical avoidance sensors across the front and bottom of the drone to help keep it safe from its surroundings. There’s also a 12-megapixel 4K camera that is mounted on a 3-axis gimbal.

As noted by dronedj.com, images of the drone appear to show a microUSB port. That’s unusual because DJI’s recent offerings have all used USB-C. The reason for the change isn’t known, but it’s disappointing for sure. It’s also possible that his is an early model, though, with the shipping product looking different to the photos that have been shared recently. Who knows, maybe there is a USB-C port after all.
