If you’re a fan of playing classic games on your iPhone today is a very good day for you after the Delta emulator was released to the public.
It’s actually available twice, with the app available in the App Store globally but only available via the AltStore PAL alternative app store in the European Union.
The new Delta emulator is announced by Riley Testut who has detailed what it can offer those who download it including support for a ton of game systems beyond the expected Game Boy Advance support.
Delta is an all-in-one emulator for iOS. Delta builds upon the strengths of its predecessor, GBA4iOS, while expanding to include support for more game systems such as NES, SNES, N64, and DS.
The full rundown of supported systems includes:
- Nintendo Entertainment System
- Super Nintendo Entertainment System
- Nintendo 64
- Game Boy (Color)
- Game Boy Advance
- Nintendo DS
Notable features include support for cheats and save states as well as Delta Sync, the ability to sync games, game saves, save states, cheats, controller skins, and controller mappings between devices.
Controller support is of course present including controllers for the Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PS5, and Xbox controllers to name just a few.
Those who want to download the Delta game emulator can do so from the App Store, and AltStore PAL store for free right now although the later is available only inside EU.
