Few people who love a bargain as much as us, and even fewer enjoy sharing them quite as much either. Luckily for you, we just can’t help ourselves, so when we saw that Halo 5: Guardians on the Xbox One is down to just $26.99 for limited time, we thought you ought to know.
With ferocious co-op gameplay and plenty of multiplayer content to keep gamers going beyond the usual frenzy that is the single player mode, Halo 5: Guardians is the latest game in the hugely popular and equally successful Halo franchise, and if you own an Xbox One you really do owe it to yourself to also own a copy of this game. If you order now, you can pick it up for just $26.99 with free shipping on Prime. So what are you waiting for?
When you place your order, what you can look forward to is an all-new storyline that will see you playing as either the series’ iconic protagonist, Master Chief, or Spartan Locke. Much of the series’ trademark single-player and multiplayer elements returned with Guardians, though there’s much to enjoy even if you’re new to the series. There’s co-op with up to four friends, 24-player multiplayer battles with Spartans, Covenant, and Forerunners all in the mix as friendly and enemy AI join in on the fun, and a new rewards system to go along with all that, which will allow you to trade in “Requisition Points” for trinkets.
Halo 5’s multiplayer gameplay and co-op-focused single-player campaign has received quite a bit of praise from critics and fans alike. The title raked in a whopping $500 million in the first week following its launch – a record for Xbox One exclusives. If you own Microsoft’s current-gen gaming console and are a fan of the FPS genre, you probably already own a copy of their sci-fi shooter. If not, this would be a good time to get on the Guardians bandwagon.
So what are you waiting for? Get your helmet on, grab your assault rifle and get to it, Spartan!
