Could This Be Apple’s 4-Inch iPhone 6c? [Video]

A new video has made its way into the public domain claiming to provide the first look at Apple’s much speculated 4-inch iPhone 6c. There’s been increased speculation over the last couple of months suggesting that the rumored 4-inch iPhone is indeed a reality. Some of those reports actually suggest that Apple is looking at a potential release of the device as early as March 2016 at its event. The video, claims to show one of the first demo units to come off the Foxconn assembly line.

The device that’s shown off in the video is immediately recognizable as an iPhone, and has a striking resemblance to the current flagship models, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. The overall aesthetic of the showcased smartphone has definitely been designed in accordance with Apple’s current models that are offered to consumers. It definitely does look smaller than the 4.7-inch iPhone 6s, but it’s very difficult to actually ascertain whether or not it is a 4-inch form factor from the angles shown. If this is the iPhone 6c, iPhone 5e, or whatever Apple chooses to call it, interested consumers can expect a very similar physical appearance to what we already have.

Other than giving a quick overview of the purported device, there aren’t really any additional details being made available about the hardware. We’ve witnessed a lot of reports over the last few months that have all speculated on the potential technical specification of the device. Some of those reports have backed each other, whereas others have had wild variation about what we can expect. The general consensus is that any new 4-inch device from Apple will ship with a 64-bit A9 chipset alongside 2GB of RAM. There’ll also likely be NFC with support for Apple Pay.

In short, iPhone 6c will most definitely fall in line with the company’s current flagship models, but with a smaller 4-inch display. Prices for the hardware will reputedly start at around the $500 mark for a version with 16GB of internal storage. Check out the video for yourself and see what you think. Real, or fake?
