ChargeCard Is An Insanely Slim And Miniscule Charger For iPhone & Android

The latest Kickstarter project to catch our eye is for the ChargeCard, a charging cable of sorts that can help get juice to an iPhone or iPod touch, as well as anything that features a micro-USB port.

When we say it's a cable of sorts, that's because it's not really a cable at all. See, the ChargeCard is a credit card sized accessory that can live in your wallet or your pocket, with no fear of anything getting broken or tangled up. When the time comes to get some power back into your device, you simply flick out the required charging attachment and away you go. Simple.

Due to finish in less than three days and already funded more than three times over, the ChargeCard will come in an array of colors, and will ship ASAP. You'll need to pledge at least $20 to get in on the action, and that gets you a ChargeCard that will cost $25 at retail, according to the project's Kickstarter page. That's a saving worth having in anyone's book.

Our quest was simple: a charging cable for your iPhone portable enough for you to always have it on you. Being ultra-portable, however, wasn't enough; it needed to fit into your life. So we designed ChargeCard in the shape of a business card, and at only three times the thickness of a credit card. With this form factor, the ChargeCard fits naturally into your wallet, purse or pocket. It's there when you need it, and out of your way when you don't.

We've all pulled a charging cable out of a bag and then spent the next ten minutes trying to untangle it. Sometimes we've even found that the cable itself is broken thanks to the punishment it has taken. These problems can be a thing of the past thanks to the ChargeCard, and it can ensure you've always got a charging cable with you by keeping it in a wallet or a purse.

(Thanks, Brian for the hat tip!)
