To qualify for a student line, the individual must be enrolled in a United States based elementary, middle school, high school, college, university or education accredited institute. The smartphone of choice must also be purchased at the Student Activated Price and be set up on an unlimited My Way plan. If the money-conscious student meets that criteria then they can benefit from 12 months worth of free calls, text messaging and 1GB of monthly data allowance. In addition to the basic deal Best Buy and Sprint are also offering unlimited data for just $10.00 a month.
A number of high-end smartphones are being offered as part of the deal. It’s fair to say that although students often find themselves having to save money wherever possible they are also extremely style conscious and need to have the latest and greatest hardware. Best Buy is offering a number of handsets as part of this promotion, including the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for $749.99, the Galaxy S4 for $649.99, the LG nexus 5 for $449.99, the LG G2 for $599.99 and various iPhone models starting at $499.99 for the 8GB iPhone 4s.
