This is a plain rumor since that's what Gruber, the source, called it himself. Gruber, known best for authentic Apple reports and leaks has quietly slipped a rumor in a footnote of an Engadget bashing post. Gruber wrote the post to point out that there weren't any eleventh hour changes like Engadget reported, in fact, the original reporting by Engadget was clearly wrong since nothing has changed in iPad 2 since January.

Facebook Messenger, developed by Crisp App, is a recent inclusion in the App Store which helps you make Voice over IP (VoIP) calls to your Facebook friends even if they are on browser. The app is built over Facebook's API to connect to the Facebook servers, however, the VoIP feature has been developed by Crisp App Limited. Compatible with your iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, Facebook Messenger requires you to have a minimum of iOS 3.1.2.

Only 2 weeks after Apple introduced subscription based service with the launch of "The Daily", Google has also launched it's subscription service which allows the publishers to charge for content as they like. The service is named "One Pass". Google announced the service today which according to them will provide publishers flexibility over payment models and control over the digital content for which they charge.
Gemalto, a firm known for digital security, has released it's SIM card which allows all the GSM phones to have a built-in Facebook. This allows all phones with minimal features to have access to Facebook, an effort to make the social network a standard on GSM. It is obvious that SIM based client won't provide as much features as clients on smartphones do but it will provide you text based menus which will let you carry out basic tasks like status updates, pokes, friend requests, wall posts etc
Earlier today, we were tipped by a really awesome guy about UK carrier Three blocking Cydia servers on their 3G network. The block also affected Cydia in Ireland and China apart from UK. Three is known to block a lot of websites including but not limited to warez and P0rn. Speaking of p0rn, Cydia was also blocked in an effort to filter adult content and not to prevent jailbreakers, which by the way, was accidental.
