Arguably the biggest social network in the world, Facebook has been, time and time again, under a lot of fire from the media as well as users for its not so friendly privacy settings, including (at one point) resetting of the set settings for all users once they rolled out any changes. The social networking giant has been keen on improving its standing on this front for quite some time now, and the latest step that it took is a big leap in this direction. Recently, Facebook has been notifying its mobile and desktop users of upcoming Terms of Service & Privacy changes through push notifications across both its mobile platform, as well as the Web version of the service.

Apple's TV ads for its devices, particularly the iPhone, have always been of keen interest to not only the fans of the Cupertino tech firm, but even its rivals, since they showcase the marketing approach that the company is taking towards ensuring that its products remain a success. Just yesterday, Apple added a couple of more TV spots to its increasing media arsenal, unveiling two ads featuring the duo of Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake. Both these ads highlight specific features of iOS 8, and are targeted for iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus.
Here's a super easy way on how you can enable hidden OS X Yosemite settings to customize Dock, Safari, Finder and more.
One thing that has differentiated Android from iOS (amongst many others, of course) has been the availability of third-party keyboards. Being able to provide textual, numeric and symbolic input to any operating system has always been one of the core requirements, and when touch-screen became the norm, a software keyboard was very much required.
The holiday season is pretty much around the corner, and as the trend goes every year, it's to be expected that we'll see a number of retailers offer a wide variety of sales and discounts on a number of items. Being a tech outlet, we have a vested interest in all things technology and gadgetry, so when we heard of a leaked flyer from Sam's Club that supposedly indicates that the wholesaler will slash the price of the new iPhone 6 by $100 starting November 15, we got excited, and we decided to share the news with you. Yup, on November 15, starting 7am local time, you can get your hands on a brand new iPhone 6 with two-year contract for just $99 for the 16GB variant!
Intel announced the next generation in its processor lineup - the Broadwell series - which will ship for most Macs by early-to-mid 2015, but somewhere along the way, the company unveiled a new lineup of Broadwell processors by the name of Core M, a couple of months back. These chips stand out of the crowd due to being ultra-low-power, and will run at mere 4.5 watts. Their intended use? The next generation of fanless PCs and tablets, including the rumored (and highly anticipated) 12-inch MacBook Air that might sport a Retina display, and slated for 2015 release.
The Pangu team today released an update to the Pangu 8.0-8.1.x Untether package, pushing the patch to version 0.3, but it was pulled almost immediately because it caused issues on 64-bit devices, such as the iPhone 6 / 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPad mini 2, 3 and iPad Air 1, 2.
As promised by the Pangu Team, the updated version of their Pangu8 utility is now available for download. Now sitting at version 1.1.0, the new and updated tool lets you jailbreak iOS 8 / 8.1 untethered, but with the added benefit of installing Cydia automatically from the get-go.
Apple TV has been steadily growing as one of Apple's hallmark products, even if the company never really intended it to be one. From a simple novelty to an actually usable content provision platform, Apple has grown its set top box steadily through the increase of newer and more channels available for streaming content from. Today, two new channels join the foray; Hallmark Cards' Feeln network, and FYI network from A&E, which are available right now should you own an Apple TV.
The Pangu8 jailbreak for iOS 8 / 8.1 came as a big surprise for the jailbreak community, but with a lot of complexities as well. One of those complexities was missing Cydia after jailbreaking our devices. Even though Saurik updated Cydia to work with iOS 8 / 8.1, the installation method was completely manual, and still remains so at least as of this writing.
