Xbox One is getting an update, and it’s exactly what the customers wanted (for the most part), incorporating a lot of changes that were asked for in last month’s Xbox feedback from the software giant. The update will include changes such as activity feed updates, expanded friends area on Home, mobile purchases and more, and we’ll tell you all about that right after the break.

It’s a new day, and a new hunt for free apps by our dedicated team around the iTunes App Store for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Our findings today include a number of great apps that you can get your hands on completely free if you hurry, so without further ado, here are today’s best paid apps gone free for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
Although the iPhone 6is all the rage in the tech blogosphere these days, another product that has been generating a lot of is the rumored Apple iWatch (mind you, it may be rumored technically, it’s all but certain that the device is seeing the light of day this fall or the holiday season). Since we’re not entirely certain yet what the device would look like, designers are continuing to take jabs at what the possible product might be, and a new concept courtesy of SET Solution pits the iWatch dangerously close to looking like a miniature iPhone.
The Internet is abuzz with rumors and reports surrounding the upcoming iPhone 6 these days (both of them, apparently), and rightly so, since there’s hardly been a device in recent history that has been so extensively leaked. However, that doesn’t mean that Apple’s current reigning smartphones, namely the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s, are to be discarded just yet. In an effort to boost sales and keep the interest piqued in their offerings, Apple has partnered (once again) with eBay for a “low-profile Factory Outlet store” that is selling Apple Certified refurbished iPhones at a much discounted price, all complete with Apple’s one-year warranty.

With as much technology infiltration as we have in our daily lives today, it becomes quite a challenge to truly protect and maintain your privacy and data security. It’s not just the inherent risk with technology and software bugs, either; we willingly expose our personal identification information to a number of parties in order to use their services. Take the newest discovery, for instance, where it has been found out that an Android phone that has its screen turned off and is connected to Wi-Fi network, can actually be actively browsing the user’s location history to anyone who’s interested in listening.
The star of controversy just cannot have it enough, period. According to a latest report, Lindsay Lohan, the celebrity whose controversial personal and professional life rivals that of Kim Kardashian, has filed a lawsuit against Rockstar Games for allegedly basing a character in the infamous Grand Theft Auto 5 on the actress herself.
Traditionally, iPhone launches had seen rather tight-lipped release scenarios with barely any information leaking out ahead of the official unveiling. All of that has completely changed over the course of last few weeks, with iPhone 6 information leaks running abundant and abound the Internet with almost no checks whatsoever.
One area where Apple’s otherwise wonderful product, the iPhone, falls short in is the file management department. iOS natively does not offer any form of file management solution, owing to the restricted nature of the OS anyway. Then, from the several third-party solutions available over at the iTunes App Store, the good ones are mostly paid. And we’re not talking just $0.99 either; some capable file managers for iPhone and iPad can even touch a solid $10 before you can make them yours. There are free options available, but it’s a pain to find good ones out of the thousands available.
If you thought sticking to the OEM products for any of your gadgets wasn’t really important and that the cheaper knockoffs worked the same, think again - a recent report suggests that third-party (read: cheap and uncertified) USB cables and wall chargers are the biggest reason for dead iPhone 5 smartphones.
