Gamers who play on their iPhone and iPad can look forward to taking Assassin’s Creed Mirage for a spin come June 6 after Ubisoft confirmed the news in a press release seen by Redmond Pie.
The press release confirms that June 6 is the big day despite the game’s App Store page saying June 10, with support for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max included thanks to their speedy A17 Pro chips.
Those with M1 or newer iPads will also be able to play the game when it arrives, too. Assassin’s Creed Mirage first launched on consoles and the PC back in October of 2023, but this is the first time the game has gone mobile.
In Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you are Basim, a cunning street thief with nightmarish visions, seeking answers and justice. After an act of deadly retribution, Basim flees Baghdad and joins an ancient organization – The Hidden Ones. As he learns their mysterious rituals and powerful tenets, he will hone his unique abilities, discover his true nature, and come to understand a new Creed – one that will change his fate in ways he never could have imagined.
The game will be available as a free download and playable for the first 90 minutes, after that, gamers will need to pay $49.99 with that getting them access to both the iPhone and iPad versions of the title.
Support for controllers is also included, as you’d expect.
