With Apple’s WWDC23 event set to kick off on June 5 the company’s annual AR experience easter egg is now up and running for those who want to take it for a spin.
The new experience is live a week or so ahead of the big WWDC23 opening keynote that will see Apple announce the next big thing in the world of the software that will power the iPhone, Mac, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple TV.
The experience itself sees a bubble-like Apple WWDC 2023 logo appear in AR with the date June 5, 2023 in the center.
Viewing the new experience is easy. Simply open the Apple Events website on an iPhone or iPad and then tap the “View the AR experience” option.
There isn’t an awful lot to actually do of course, but it’s a fun addition given the fact that we expect Apple to announce its AR/VR headset during this particular event.
This WWDC is set to be a big one of course. That Reality Pro headset is likely to be the big news, while a 15-inch MacBook Air is also thought to be on the horizon. The new software will also be a big deal, although those using Apple’s platforms won’t be able to install the new updates until this fall.
Apple’s WWDC event will lick off at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time on Monday, June 5 and the opening keynote will be streamed online.
