Apple’s Vision Pro was announced back in June of 2023 and the headset is now available for preorder ahead of a release on February 2.
The headset is going to be Apple’s first entry into a new market since the Apple Watch in 2014, and now the company has shared a new ad to highlight its arrival.
The Vision Pro ad, dubbed “Hello Apple Vision Pro,” shows off a number of the ways that Apple expects people to use the Vision Pro including the EyeSight system that allows people to see the wearer’s eyes.
Apple Vision Pro is here. Now, digital content blends seamlessly with your physical space. You can do the things you love in ways never before possible.
The ad itself isn’t entirely new, however. As MacRumors reports the video is actually a modified and shorter version of a video that Apple originally shared back at WWDC in June, a date that also saw the headset unveiled officially for the first time.
Apple also showed the new ad during the NFL playoff games which will only serve to make sure that more people are aware of the Vision Pro’s arrival. Apple is betting big on the headset and it will need to raise as much awareness of its existence as possible.
One problem the Vision Pro will have to deal with is price. The 256GB model is available for preorder now for $3,499 with 512GB and 1TB options also offered — Apple is also thought to be working on a cheaper version of the headset, too.
