Apple has announced its annual New Year promotion in Japan, running from January 2 to January 5, 2024. This is the perfect opportunity for Apple fans to grab some extra goodies with their purchases.
Here’s how it works: customers who buy eligible Apple devices during the promotion will receive an Apple gift card worth up to ¥30,000, depending on the product.
To sweeten the deal, the first 50,000 people to purchase an iPhone 15, iPhone 14, or iPhone SE will also get an exclusive “Year of the Snake” AirTag — a special collectible for the Lunar New Year.
Here’s the breakdown of gift card values:
- iPhone: Up to ¥11,000
- MacBook Air: Up to ¥30,000
- iPad, iPad Air, iPad Pro: Up to ¥15,000
- Apple Watch: Up to ¥11,000
- AirPods Max, AirPods Pro 2, AirPods (4th Gen): Up to ¥12,000
Gift cards are also available with purchases of the Apple TV, select Beats headphones, and accessories. For full details, check out Apple’s Japan website.
It’s important to note that the promotion applies only to purchases made in Apple retail stores or through the Apple website — not via the Apple Store app.
If you’re in Japan and looking to upgrade your tech or grab some Apple gear, this limited-time deal is worth checking out. Don’t miss out on the exclusive AirTag if you’re quick enough!
