Apple has long been rumored to have designs on shipping new Macs and iPads within the first few months of this year and a new report suggests that we should expect them to debut in late March.
That’s according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, writing in the weekly Power On newsletter. Gurman says that new iPad Pro models and a new 13-inch MacBook Air are already in production within Apple’s Asian supply chain which means that a launch is just around the corner.
With that in mind, Apple is now expected to officially announce the new devices towards the end of March.
The iPads don’t just include the iPad Pro, however. While we do expect new 11-inch and 13-inch OLED iPad Pros to be announced, we’re also expecting that Apple will announce a new 12.9-inch iPad Air as well as a refreshed 11-inch model. Both of those are also tipped for a release in March.
In terms of the MacBook Air, while Gurman mentioned the 13-inch MacBook Air it’s previously been suggested that the 15-inch model would also debut at the same time. Both of the machines are expected to ship with Apple’s M3 chips inside, just like the iPad Pros, while the iPad Air tablets are likely to benefit from the chip instead.
These releases will of course come after the February 2 launch of the Vision Pro, a headset that was announced in June of 2023 and is currently available for preorder.
