Apple’s Foldable iPhone Price Leaked Upwards Of $2,000

Rumors say the first-ever foldable iPhone is coming next year, and it’s going to be pricey.

According to a leaker on Weibo named Instant Digital, the new foldable iPhone could start between $2,100 and $2,300, putting it just above Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold6, which starts at $1,899.

The foldable iPhone is expected to launch alongside the iPhone 18 series. It might have a 5.5-inch outer display and a larger 7.8-inch inner screen with a tablet-like 4:3 aspect ratio. Apple is also reportedly working hard to fix that annoying screen crease most foldables carry, so hopefully, this one looks clean and smooth.

Analysts think this could be a big deal for Apple, especially as iPhone sales have been dipping lately. Some even believe the foldable could help boost Apple’s numbers in 2026.

Apple expert Ming-Chi Kuo had already said the foldable would be priced over $2,000, and today’s leak just confirms that. Compared to Google’s Pixel Fold, which starts at $1,799, Apple’s version definitely sits at the top end, but when has Apple ever gone cheap?

While that price tag stings, fans have been waiting for an Apple foldable for years. With iOS handling big screens better than Android in many ways, it could be worth it.
