The brand new Apple Watch Ultra and AirPods Pro 2 are now on sale, with those who placed pre-orders receiving them today if they got their order in quickly enough.
Some local Apple Stores appear to have limited stocks as well, depending on the configuration required.
The new Apple Watch Ultra is Apple’s biggest ever watch come in at 49mm and sports a flat screen and a more rugged appearance. It’s designed for people who spend their time outdoors and having adventures and features special features for divers and more.
Each Apple Watch Ultra comes with cellular connectivity and is priced at $799, no matter which band option you choose. There’s only one color case available, too.
As for the new AirPods Pro, they look like the old ones and are priced at the same $249. But under the hood quite a bit has changed. There’s a new chip for improved noise cancelation and Transparency mode, while new touch controls have also been added to the stems for the first time. Now people can control their volume without touching their iPhone or other device.
The Apple Watch Ultra and AirPods Pro aren’t the last product releases we expect this year. The new iPhone 14 Plus won’t arrive until October 7, while we still expect to see new iPads and potentially new Macs before 2022 comes to a close, too.
