The well known Apple supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has come out with a new report during Christmas holidays which states that Apple Vision Pro headset’s mass shipments will start by next week.
The aforementioned report also states that the said headset will see a public launch around February of next year.
In the same report, Ming-Chi Kuo has also stated that he expects Apple to ship around half a million units of Vision Pro headset by end of 2024.
For those of you who don’t remember, Apple first unveiled the Vision Pro headset back in June this year during its annual WWDC conference. At the time, the company stated that it expects to launch the headset in the US in early 2024, followed by launch in more countries at a later date.
If this latest report by Ming-Chi Kuo, who by the way has a good track report of being accurate when it comes to these reportings, is anything to go by, it seems like we are now closer than ever to the launch of Apple’s much anticipated Vision Pro headset.
Apple has already announced the pricing for its Vision Pro headset, which will be $3,499 in the US at launch.
Recently, the company also released a software update in the form of iOS 17.2 firmware for iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max users which added capability to shoot spatial video recording on the device, ready to be played back inside Vision Pro headset.
