We all saw this coming ! The limera1n exploit based GreenPois0n tool has finally jailbroken the 2nd-generation Apple TV. Members of Chronic Dev Team posted an image as a proof, showing a custom loader with a background on the Apple TV, running iOS 4.1.
This will surely open tons of opportunities for Cydia developers in the coming weeks and months!
There is no ETA yet on this version of GreenPois0n with Apple TV support. But going by the impressive progress, it shouldn’t be too long before we can all jailbreak Apple TV with GreenPois0n.
