Apple’s WWDC23 event will kick off on June 5 with an opening keynote that will be “one of Apple’s longest ever,” according to a new report. We’re also told to expect Apple to announce “several new Macs” during the event.
That’s according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman who took to Twitter to share the details. According to him, Apple will announce multiple new Macs although he didn’t get into details about what they would be.
We’re already expecting the 15-inch MacBook Air to debut, but it now appears that there will be at least one additional Mac added to the mix.
Gurman also went on to say that he expects the opening keynote to exceed two hours, likely due to the sheer amount of things that need to be announced. Alongside the multiple Macs we’re also expecting Apple to unveil its Reality Pro AR/VR headset as well as multiple software updates.
The new software for the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple TV will all be unveiled during the event, although they won’t be ready for download until much later in the year following a months-long beta process.
The WWDC23 event will be streamed online with a limited number of press and developers attending an event at Apple Park. Expectations are high for what is sure to be a big event, with the Reality Pro headset sure to be the star of the show.
