Apple Shows Off Its Accessibility Chops In New Ad

Apple has today shared a new ad for iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch, and more with the company showing just how comprehensive its accessibility features are.

Most of us are fortunate enough not to need the accessibility features that Apple puts into its devices, but this ad shows just how capable they are and how people can get amazing things done with their help.

The ad shows an iPhone and Door Detection being used to help someone figure out which door to go through, while Voice Control and other features are also highlighted.

One particularly powerful part of the ad shows a baby crying silently, with a woman’s Apple Watch detecting the noise and telling her that her child needs attention. Deaf people might otherwise not be aware that their baby needs them, but the Apple Watch can detect its cries, as well as other sounds.

At Apple, we believe accessibility is a human right. Innovative features like Door Detection, Sound Recognition, Voice Control, and more are designed to let you use your devices in ways that work best for you.

While other companies offer accessibility features, Apple is generally accepted to be among the best in terms of ensuring everyone can use it’s devices regardless of any accessibility issues they might have.
