Apple Seeds macOS 10.12.4 Beta 3, Here Are The Details

After releasing iOS 10.3 beta 3, tvOS 10.2 beta 3 and watchOS 3.2 beta 3 earlier today, Apple has now released macOS 10.12.4 beta 3 to those registered on the company’s Developer Program portal.

This seed comes approximately two weeks after beta 2 was released and around three or so weeks after first macOS 10.12.4 beta seed was made available to both developers and testers.

In terms of new features being added, in 10.12.4 beta generally and not necessarily beta 3 seed, Apple is delighting macOS 10.12.4 testers with the addition of a great new Night Shift mode which changes the temperature of the Mac’s display later in the evening for a more comfortable viewing experience. There’s also the introduction of a fancy new mechanism which allows developers to respond directly to App Store reviews left by users.

Beta 3 of macOS 10.12.4 though doesn’t really bring anything new to the table and instead focuses mainly on bug fixes and under-the-hood performance improvement than anything else to make the overall macOS 10.12.4 beta ready for primetime use.

Registered developers with a compatible MacBook or iMac computer and a previous version of macOS beta installed are able to head on over to the Mac App Store right now and grab the latest pre-release seeds of macOS 10.12.4 with immediate effect. Those new to these macOS betas will need to first head over to developer.apple.com to get started.

macOS 10.12.4 beta 3 is currently only available to those registered on Apple Developer Program. While Apple will make it available to Apple Beta Software Program testers as well, it’s currently not available to them just yet. We will of course let you know whenever Apple does make it available to public beta testers. Stay tuned for more.
