Apple Reportedly Upgrading A Stadium For Immersive Sports Content On Vision Pro

If a new report is anything to go by, Apple is working on upgrading a sports stadium for new immersive sports content for Vision Pro.

The said report, which comes by the way of Marca, quotes Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez who sheds light on the ongoing negotiations between the club and Apple.

The report states that Real Madrid’s iconic Santiago Bernabéu stadium is currently undergoing a costly transformation. Recently, the club’s president, Florentino Pérez, addressed the pressing issue of the stadium frequently running out of capacity.

Here’s the translated quote from the publication regarding Apple working on upgrading the stadium for creating immersive content:

Everyone wants to come to the Santiago Bernabéu, and that’s why we are negotiating with Apple to be able to wear glasses and watch the match as if you were at the stadium. It would be the Infinite Santiago Bernebéu.

Apple’s significant investment in soccer in recent times is undoubtedly opening doors for the company in its pursuit of developing immersive video content for sports.

It will be interesting to see what comes out of this if the claims made in this report come out to be true.
