If you own an Apple Vision Pro spatial computer, you now have a new software update to download — the visionOS 1.1.2 update is ready to go.
The new update, which comes a month after Apple released the visionOS 1.1 release, can be downloaded via the Settings app. Users must select the General section and then pick Software Update to get the ball rolling.
Note that the Apple Vision Pro must be removed in order to install the new update and that there will be a progress bar visible on the external EyeSight display so users can see how things are progressing.
As for what’s new, anyone hoping for big new features will be left disappointed. Apple’s release notes say that the update includes bug fixes and that it’s recommended for all users, but that’s as far as things go.
It’s also notable that Apple has released a revised visionOS 1.2 beta to developers, and that can be downloaded by those who are signed into their Apple developer account. Apple is also expected to announce the visionOS 2 update at the WWDC in June, although it isn’t clear what that update will offer users just yet.
The Apple Vision Pro is currently only available for those in the United States with prices starting at $3,499 for the 256GB model. There are also 512GB and 1TB models available for those who need extra space, too.
