Apple Releases Revised iOS 18 Beta 3 And iPadOS Beta 3

Apple has today released an updated and revised version of the iOS 18 beta 3 release to developers, allowing them to install it on devices that are signed into their registered developer Apple ID.

The new update is available for download now and replaces the previous iOS 18 beta 3 release that was made available to developers a week ago.

This new update is smaller than the previous one and makes unknown changes, but we can assume the improvements are important considering the fact that Apple has chosen not to wait for iOS 18 beta 4 to be released — an update that is expected to be made available on July 22.

Those who are registered developers can install the iOS 18 beta by heading to the Settings app and enabling the Beta Updates option within the Software Update section. It’s important to remember that betas should be expected to have bugs and issues, however, and they should only be installed on non-critical devices.

Apple is expected to release a public beta version of the iOS 18 software before the end of July, but the final release isn’t set to be ready for public consumption until September time.

That update is set to arrive alongside the new iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro if Apple sticks to its existing release cadence. The same release timeframe is also expected to include the Apple Watch X and a revised Apple Watch Ultra model, too.
