Apple Releases Public Beta 1 Of iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, macOS Sequoia 15.2 With New Apple Intelligence Features

Apple has just released iOS 18.2 public beta 1, iPadOS 18.2 public beta 1 and macOS Sequoia 15.2 public beta 1 to those who are part of Apple Beta Software Program portal.

The aforementioned release brings new Apple Intelligence features where were previously not included as part of iOS 18.1 release.

This includes features such as Image Creation tools which brings new options such as Genmoji, Image Playground, Image Wand, as well as new enhanced version of Siri, enhanced Writing Tools, ChatGPT integration and more.

Also included as part of this release is Visual Intelligence for iPhone 16 series which lets iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max users use Camera Control button to get more info on whatever the camera lens is being pointed at using Google Image Search or ChatGPT.

Apart from this, ‌Apple Intelligence‌ in the aforementioned releases now supports localized English in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland, and the UK in addition to U.S. English.

To download and install the aforementioned releases on iPhone, iPad or Mac, make sure you are signed up at beta.apple.com and then heading over to Settings > General > Software Update section of the device itself and then grabbing the OTA update from there.

Apple is expected to release final version of iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, macOS Sequoia 15.2, watchOS 11.2, tvOS 18.2, and visionOS 2.2 updates in early December of this year.
