Apple has today released macOS Ventura 13.4.1 and watchOS 9.5.2 to the public and both can now be downloaded via the usual software update mechanisms.
These updates come as Apple is already beta testing the next big updates for both the Mac and Apple Watch, with macOS Sonoma and watchOS 10 available in developer beta form.
Neither update is set to be ready for public use until later this year, however.
In terms of macOS Ventura 13.4.1, this new update arrives a month after the last one and Apple’s release notes say that it is recommended for all users. That’s because important security fixes are included, so we’d suggest heading into System Settings and downloading the update ASAP.
As for watchOS 9.5.2, this update is now available for download via the Watch app on your iPhone. Head to General > Software Update to get the ball rolling.
Apple’s release notes again mention important security fixes, so we’d suggest making sure that your Apple Watch is updated to this new version as soon as possible to ensure you’re covered. Apple has also released watchOS 8.8.1 which can be installed on Apple Watches that don’t support watchOS 9 or later.
These updates also arrive alongside iOS 16.5.1 and iPadOS 16.5.1 for the iPhone and iPad respectively. They also include their own security updates so be sure to install them, too.
