Apple has today released a slew of new developer betas for download including macOS Sonoma, watchOS 10, and tvOS 17 developer beta 5.
The new betas arrive alongside the iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 beta 5 releases and can now be downloaded via their usual developer programs and methods.
macOS 14 Sonoma beta 5
The macOS Sonoma beta is now available for download and while it’s early days to know what’s new in this release, the final update will add support for new screensavers, widgets on the desktop, and more.
watchOS 10 beta 5
This latest watchOS 10 beta is now available for download from the Watch app on the iPhone and again, it’s too early to know what it has to offer. However, watchOS 10 will ship this fall with a new widget-like interface that creates a stack of data-based tiles that can be accessed via the Digital Crown. Other changes include invoking Control Center by pressing the Side button.
tvOS 17 beta 5
As always, tvOS betas are the least exciting of all with fewer improvements to be found. In this instance, the biggest change will be support for using an iPhone as a FaceTime camera for big-screen calls with friends and loved ones.
All of these updates are now available for download by registered developers, while public beta versions are expected to be made available within a matter of days.
