If there’s one app that is missing from the suite of those available to Tesla drivers, it’s probably the Apple Music one.
There are already apps available for Tesla drivers to use for music streaming via the vehicle’s big in-car screen, but Apple Music isn’t one of them.
Now, a new series of photos suggest that might be about to change.
A few photos posted from a recent exhibit for Tesla at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles appears to show an Apple Music app installed on a Tesla Model S. More images shared show that users will be able to scan a QR code on their phone and log into Apple Music that way, similar to how people sign into Apple services on televisions and game consoles.
Tesla has been teasing the addition of an Apple Music app for years but it is so far missing from the screens of millions of cars. If that’s about to change there will be a new way for Tesla drivers to listen to their music, so long as they also happen to be an Apple Music subscriber of course.

While there is no telling when this new feature will go live, Not a Tesla App suggests that it could be released as part of Tesla’s annual holiday update, likely to arrive at some point next month.
