Beats announced back in September that it had agreed a deal with the NBA to partner with the basketball outfit, and now we’re starting to see some outcome.
Until now the partnership has amounted to NBA stars wearing Beats during interviews, but Apple and Beats are now selling specially branded Studio3 Wireless headphones, complete with the logos and colors of a select few teams.
Unfortunately, we don’t have options for every NBA team so if your favorite isn’t here, you’re out of luck right now although there are indications that may change in the future. Right now you can pick up headphones for the Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, and Toronto Raptors.
No matter which team you choose you’ll get the same Studio3 Wireless headphones that have been around for a while, but they’ll feature the primary color of the team you choose with a faded representation of their logo throughout the headphones themselves. The result, depending on the team in question, can be something pretty spectacular. The Raptors White headphones look particularly awesome, we reckon.
Each pair will cost just shy of $350, and comes with all of the same features you’d expect of other Studio3 Wireless headphones including the famous W1 chip.
Incorporating the efficient W1 chip brings seamless setup and switching for your Apple devices, up to 22 hours of battery life for all-day, full-featured playback with Pure ANC on, and Fast Fuel technology for 3 hours of play with a 10-minute charge. Pure ANC-off for low-power mode provides up to 40 hours of battery life.
The Apple W1 chip features Class 1 Bluetooth connectivity—the industry-leading classification for range and signal strength. With best-in-class performance, Beats Studio3 Wireless seamlessly syncs to your devices, so you can easily move about, keep the music going, and stay productive all day.
If you’re a fan of one of the teams currently represented, you can place your order now. Everyone else will unfortunately have to wait a little.
