Apple Is Getting Retail Stores Ready For iPad Air 4 Arrival

Apple announced the iPad Air 4 during its media event last month but so far nobody has been able to buy one. Apple did say that it expected to have the new iPad Air ready to go at some point in October and it looks like the company is starting to send out promotional marketing materials ready for sales to begin.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has been sharing that materials are now finding their way into store, and it makes plenty of sense given the October release window.

The new ‌iPad‌ Air 1 will be available via Apple’s apple.com online store as well as the Apple Store app.

The new tablet will go on sale in 30 countries with Wi-Fi models starting at $599, while cellular models will start at $729. Capacities start at 64GB.

The new iPad Air is set to be a big hit with an iPad Pro-like look and the return of Touch ID. For the first time, Touch ID is built into the power button which is something we’re hoping will be Apple’s way of testing it out on a large scale before bringing the same feature to the iPhone.

It isn’t likely we’ll see Touch ID come to the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, but there’s always next year!
