Apple announced Apple Fitness+ earlier this year with a launch window that means it’ll arrive before the end of the year. Time is running out for that of course, but now it looks like it’s only a matter of time before the wraps come off.
Best Buy in particular is beginning to promote the service, suggesting it knows something we don’t.
Best Buy is currently sharing a deal that gets users free months of Fitness+ although no launch date is mentioned.
And as 9to5Mac notes, some fitness instructors are already beginning to hype the feature up ahead of a launch.
Apple Fitness+ is slated to launch sometime before the end of 2020, though no exact date has yet been announced. Ahead of the launch, Fitness+ instructors are taking to Instagram to tease that the service is launching “soon” and that they are in the process of recording workouts.
Multiple instructors are posting to Instagram right now suggesting a launch is around the door, both iOS 14.3 and watchOS 7.2 mention Fitness+ in their latest betas, again suggesting the software updates will arrive when Fitness+ is ready.
Apple announced Fitness+ as a $9.99 per month subscription that will give users access to exercise routines including videos. The best way to get it is very much Apple One, however, with iCloud storage, Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and Apple News+ all included for less than $30 each month.
Now we wait for Apple to announce when Fitness+ is ready to go – but we don’t expect it to be too far into the future.
